Imagine a beautifully sunny and crisp winter day and fresh snow as far as the eye can see—no resort crowds to worry about, just the solitude of the backcountry. Gliding along a freshly groomed track or shredding lines down from the top of a high-alpine ridge—the choices are endless. What’s the cost of this paradise, you ask? Typically, we ask for a four-hour commitment from our volunteers each weekend from mid-December through Easter for a total of 40 hours. We are also on the lookout for support during the two-week Christmas Holiday stretch!
